hello!

I'm Lauren, owner of Lauren Alyssa Photography Chicago LLC and BODY & SOUL Boudoir Chicago.

I am a mama to human and fur babies. These babies drive me nuts sometimes, (and I drive them nuts right back,) but they are my world. It is my love for them and how startlingly fast life moves at moments that has really inspired me to capture these stills of time. Not letting those moments and connections get lost in the blur of life drives my photography journey, and allows me to unpack some creativity while having fun and providing a meaningful experience with beautiful results for your family! It's also easy to get lost in the madness, so helping women put themselves first for a day and be pampered with boudoir and empowerment sessions became a passion as well. As far as how I got into photography, that's an in-person story that I'm happy to share if you're interested.

Personally? We are a first responder family who strive to support each other's dreams and make the best of every single day.

Big supporter of self-love including chasing your dreams and being in tune with your mental health & well-being.

In my off time? Enjoyer of ice cream and lover of the ocean. Hiker of mountains and sitter of the couches. Admirer of natural beauty and thriver of chaos.

Also... I love coffee. Venti Mocha Frap with almond milk & whipped cream is my go-to... or large iced coffee easy cream, easy sugar. ;)
